so fun fact for this one: I composed it at ten years old. it's the first song I ever created. so this one has a lot of sentimental value to me. specifically because of the fact that it kick-started my whole music composition thing. I chose yixi this time because she has a slightly ethereal voice when tuned in the higher octaves, and it's something I've not really seen people do with her in particular. but that could also just be my side of the internet. I want to fly high, be free And that may not be easy But it's just how it should be It would be a worthy fight To see my soul in the light Cause then I'd look down upon the Lives of the people who love me This sunset is real special Like a personal heaven "Hey, what's so special about it?" Please don't ask such a question "What colour do you think you'd be?" I think that i would be green Cause it reminds me of me And it warms my heart within And if you look at the sky You'd see our souls fly high And we're forever at peace And in an eternal sleep You might think why I'd do that Well, I'm happy that you'd ask It's so that I'd be happy And be with my family That thought is hard to stomach But look at all the colours And it'd be hard to let go But it's just right for my soul "Why not be a butterfly?"
