How have you been? sorry for being absent for so long, a lot of things have happened within the time i've been gone. lots of bouncing around and trying to figure out where i'm meant to go. thank you all for being here. this song is for Olikase zine, a collaboration celebrating our favourite boys. Oliver was my first vocaloid and then I later was gifted Fukase. I haven't used either of them in a while but I've been yearning to...I'm so glad to have been given this chance. These two will always be my favourite vocaloids, something about them tells me that it's okay to be imperfect, as long as you love and are loved. .⊹˖ᯓ★. ݁₊ I've learned a lot about producing between the past and now, and Eccentricity Embrace felt like a nice way to step back into what I know while also having some fun and breaking my own mold. this song sort of came out of the blue. i wasn't sure what my song for this zine was going to be, until I discovered the picture of the Antennae Galaxies' current collision by Kent E. Briggs. The galaxies are currently forming a heart...it's adorable, and reminded me of how nice it is to just look up sometimes. Once I had the galaxies in mind, this song came from it. Eccentricity is the measure of how much a celestial body's orbit deviates from being perfectly circular. i had the idea of Oliver and Fukase being two celestial bodies that are breaking from their predestined orbits to be together. .⊹˖ᯓ★. ݁₊ the outfits were so fun to draw. I love drawing space-y stuff. Oliver's outfit came to me quickly but when drawing the final art, Fukase's pose came more naturally. It's funny. I like to think Oliver would be more formal and shy while Fukase would be a bit more carefree and forward.
