This song was inspired by my little elderly cat. I've recently been doing some travel abroad, and one night I had a horrifically realistic dream that she had passed while I was away. Thankfully she's still around and still committing household crimes, but it made me sad nonetheless. The price of loving a pet so deeply feels like a lot sometimes, but it's always so worth it.
