the first half is miku v4 and the second is nt!! click "show more" for the rest of the description ↷ soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/cheesumchild/platina nico: https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm36991360 hi guys!! so miku NT is finally here ^_^ (confetti) this time i wanted to do a comparison between her last ever VOCALOID bank and the prototype NT one ! given this bank is just a prototype i don't rly wanna go too hard on it .. but i think there for sure is work to do in order to make her smoother .. and also work to be done with regard to the tone the engine gives the miku (nasalness and the underlying engine noise particularly). THAT BEING SAID .. crypton breaking away from yamaha is deserving of praise in its own right, but going ahead n making their own synth top it off is even more commendable imo ^_^ and i think there's a lot of cool features that piapro studio has that i'd like to see in other synths!! super formant shifter n voice voltage specfically ! i've said that vocaloid is dying even when it wasn't popular to do so .. but now that it's pretty clear that that's the case, i hope we can all support crypton in their endeavors―despite how a prototype might sound ! and while i don't think we'll ever get new VOCALOIDs (besides the V5 updates already announced for a couple of chinese vocalos), supporting other synthesizers ensures we can at least get new voicebanks and singers for those platforms !! yeah!!
