My family had a small graduation party for me today. I got pizza and cannoli cake =) I mixed this just the other day, but my first attempt at a cover was waaayyy back. I believe I discovered this song sometime around when I was 9 and just getting into Vocaloid. I fell in love with the song's sound immediately, as well as its lyricism. I used to come home from school just to click on the video and listen to it with my eyes closed, not doing anything else. It was probably my favorite song at the time. Despite this, I ended up forgetting it at some point. And when I went to go find it years later after remembering it, it kind of...messed me up. It's hard to explain, but I guess I wasn't the most mentally healthy 9 year old, and hearing the song again after all those years kind of threw me off course for a few days mentally. But slowly I came to a point where I could listen to it again without it overthrowing me, and now I can enjoy it just fine. It means a lot to me to finally cover this song with Kadou, and even more to release that cover. The mixing might be a little odd though (when DON'T I say that???) as JE3 and Ichigo join in to serve as harmonies, and they might pester your left and right ear respectively for a bit with their Consonants of Doom. A certain other utauloid joins in at the final chorus too. Damn, I really just need to release him already...
