Maretu fans work fast…and I’m no exception Absolutely in love with this song and I stayed up at 6 am translating it and I have work in an hour 😭 as usual, take it with a grain of salt, I’m not 100% fluent! I do not own this song, all credit to MARETU https://youtu.be/R_g0M5Zmqhg My Theory: I saw a few other translations circling and I think the narrator of the song is a mother, married to a man who either doesn’t love her or cheats on her. The song talks about her disblief that he’d ever do something like that. She wants him to herself, for things to stay the same yet is overcome with grief. Alternatively, it could be about a newly wed couple. From the lines, she could be obsessive/possesive over him. This causes the guy to cheat on her. Having this possesive nature, she is outwardly angry at him because even after he claimed to love her, he goes and cheats. In response, she kills him. What are your theories? Comment them below!
