Trap https://x.com/musiquelux?s=21 Movie clips used in the MV are licensed by “iStock”, based on paid charge. ◼︎コンセプト 息子の卒業式のお祝いに、という取っ掛かりから、子供が大人に向けて少しずつ成長していく過程でいくつもの環境変化を経験していくプロセスを見守っていたい、という目線から暖かい感じの曲想と歌詞を意識し、表現しています。 歌詞の主体は、男女の色なく、また特定の年齢層に縛られないよう、普遍的な歌詞となるよう意識しましたが、私の視点から見た息子の成長過程の場面を思い出しながら書いていたので、個別事情みたいな色が出ているかもしれません… —— 親に色んなことをしてもらって成り立っているような生活ぶりを見ていて、ある日、入学を機にそれらのことは自分でやらなければいけなくなる。 不安そうな顔やまだ小さな背中には、大丈夫かな？、と心配になったものだけど、勉強や習い事、スポーツ、そして何人もの同級生と楽しそうに過ごす様を授業参観や学校のイベント事のときに眺めていると、段々と、着実に成長している姿を見てこれた。 いつの間にそんなに、と驚くこともしばしばあり、卒業式、というマイルストン、のような時期に来て、これまでを振り返りつつ、これからの過ごしかた、について、メッセージを。 このような考えを巡らせて、歌詞を書いています。 曲想は、バンドサウンドのようなスタンダードな楽器構成に基づき、元気よく、でも、どこか包容力があるような雰囲気にしています。ピアノやアコギ、ストリングス、複数のハモリを入れて、暖かさのようなものも表現できたら、と思いながら作りこみました。 ◼︎Concept Starting with the idea of celebrating my son’s graduation, I composed this song with the intention of capturing a warm atmosphere and lyrics that reflect my desire to watch over the process of children gradually growing into adults as they experience various changes in their environment. I aimed for the lyrics to be universal—free from gender stereotypes and not tied to any specific age group—but since I wrote them while recalling scenes from my son’s growth process as I saw it, they may still carry a personal touch… —— Watching a lifestyle that relies on parents for so many things, one day—with the start of school—they suddenly have to do those things on their own. Seeing their anxious faces and still-small backs, I used to worry, “Will they be okay?” But watching them during parent-teacher conferences and school events—studying, taking lessons, playing sports, and happily spending time with their classmates—I could see them growing steadily and reliably. I’m often surprised by how much they’ve grown without me even noticing, and now that we’ve reached this milestone—the graduation ceremony—I’d like to reflect on the past and share a message about how they should live from here on out. With these thoughts in mind, I’ve written the lyrics. The musical arrangement is based on a standard band sound, creating an atmosphere that is energetic yet somehow warm and embracing. I crafted this song with the hope of expressing a sense of warmth by incorporating piano, acoustic guitar, strings, and multiple harmonies.
