I've also been a bit loose with translating the line "Sever them with your Platinum" by both sticking to the English word "platinum" and to the way Jotaro pronounces his stand's name - Star Platina. That's on top of the original japanese being very cheeky with its lyrics (in more than one places!): the lyrics write the japanese word for "platinum", but the vocals in the song sing the word for "light", which I interpret as "shining platinum" or "platinum light", but any faithful translation here seems almost impossible to me. They do the same with "TAROT" and "card" in "Read the cards: your fate's been revealed", but here I don't feel bad by dropping the word "tarot", because they are the most commonly used cards for fortune telling, and, thus, implied!
