Serena always lived at the other side of a see-through leviathan, a sea of glass. "But I've learnt to live like this". She says, lying through her teeth. She has been beaten to a pulp by inertia, monotony and the insidious vine of the ever-present technological evolution. A bit further each day, a bit less like herself. Whatever remained of that. She is still apart. From everything. "I still remember when life wasn't like this. When I looked forward to what I could make of myself, instead of barely scrapping by.
