【Johatsun Kikuro】 Oeoeo/おえおえお 【UTAUカバー】+Voicebank Announcements

PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION FOR VOICEBANK ANNOUNCEMENTS/NEWS I'm so glad to finally put this up! I had wanted to cover this song with Kikuro for a while now, not so much because I think it fits his character (because it doesn't), but because I thought he'd do a good job of singing it. And if you ask me, he totally does! I'm incredibly happy with how this cover turned out! I added that little thing at the end because I thought it fit well with the song and because it makes it sound like Kikuro is actually about to be sick. I think this might be the best thing I've done with Kikuro so far... All that being said, now onto the voicebank announcements/news. First of all, HAPPY TWO-THIRDS-NIVERSARY TO JOHATSUN KIKURO!! It's been eight months since his official release! I missed his his half-niversary (I'm a bad UTAU parent ;-;), so here's this now. Second, I do have more voicebanks planned for Kikuro. I actually already have two recorded, however one I will probably scrap because I don't really like the tone of it. It was supposed to be a higher-pitched, light/soft CV JP bank, but the tone of it doesn't resemble the tone of Kikuro's main bank (the one used here) very much, so I'll probably re-record it. The other voicebank I have already recorded is an English Arpasing bank. I'm overall okay with how that turned out. It could be better, but it'd be too much of a pain to re-record the entire thing just to correct a few samples (and I'm not a huge fan of re-recording just a few samples way later than the bulk of the recordings since that will most likely cause inconsistencies and that's actually the source of the inconsistencies in the bank used here). So I will be releasing that bank at some point, but as of right now I have no planned date for the release. Hopefully it will be by the end of this year or at least before Kikuro's one year anniversary comes up, but since I'm not going to re-record parts of it I still want to iron out anything that needs to be fixed in the OTO (and maybe even write an original song using it ;) ). Thirdly... well, this doesn't have to do so much with my UTAUloid, but if you are subscribed to me you may have noticed that I've started to post a little more frequently lately. Instead of uploading one video every four or five weeks, I'm going to try to upload something every three weeks now. But I'm also going to modify my upload schedule so that instead of alternating between cover and original, I'm going to post one original and then two covers. That way I'll have more time to finish originals (I'm slow at writing songs :( ) and I'll also be able to upload more of the covers that I already have finished. As long as I'm able to get all the videos themselves made, I think this schedule will work out better for everyone. :) Anyway, thanks for watching this video (and for reading this probably-too-long description).
