Please read this description and enjoy the video. YouTube, Y U lower audio quality? The vocals in this cover contain a manual crossfade between WALTT's Future English and English X voicebanks. Creating the crossfades was a lot of work so I hope it paid off. I crossfaded the vocals because I wanted them to sound more realistic and I wanted an overall tone that was somewhere between the two voicebanks. Also I added that harmony on the last chorus. I wrote the harmony myself. :D I spent a long time working on this. In total I think I put in at least 48 hours of work, probably more. This also took me a long time to complete for other reasons. During when I went to make the video for this I had started off in Windows Movie Maker, but I thought it was too simple (and stubborn) and I wanted something a bit more fancy. So I tried to download a demo of Sony Vegas but the demo wouldn't run once I installed it, so I went to uninstall it because I didn't want it taking up room on my hard drive. As I was uninstalling Vegas my operating system crashed and my computer froze and I had to restart. Upon restarting the operating system somehow got corrupted and I couldn't do anything after logging in. There was nothing I could do, so I took it in to Geek Squad to have it repaired. They said they could fix it but it would take a few days, but that was fine since I was going on vacation for a week starting on the day that I dropped it off. By the time I got home it was ready to be picked up. They had to reinstall the operating system and I lost almost everything on my computer, including all my Vocaloids and UTAUloids. Fortunately I had backed my stuff up to an external hard drive and I was able to restore a lot of files (including the Vocaloids and UTAUloids, thank goodness), but not everything. I was really worried about this cover because I had worked so hard on it and I wasn't sure if I had backed it up or not. Fortunately I was able to retrieve the audio and the image that I had made, and all I needed to do was make the video. I wasn't going to take the risk with Sony Vegas again, so I just used Windows Movie Maker to make this. I had been meaning to get better about posting videos on a regular basis, and what happened to my computer kinda felt like a wake-up call I guess. So I will try my best to upload videos more often and I already have a few things that are done that I could upload soon, including some original songs.
