I thought doing it in like 5 days would be tight but like i guess i underestimated myself lololol i mean ive made a lot of covers in like two days before but im reallly pleased with how this whole thing turned out. i tried out some new tuning stuff and i think i like it!! makes her voice sound a little less flat. i did get so excited by it that i didnt think much abt the pronunciation, so some of it's not as good as it could b the MIX really gave me the biggest headache out of all thisss i literally finished it and thought it was good and exported it but listening to it on the laptop that i video edit on, that initial mix was so noticeably off that I literally re-exported stuff from synthv even, which ive never done before, so i could fix some stuff for the actual mix and make it easier on myself. im a p big fan of how it sounds now tho!! i like it (ah its not perfect still, obviously, but i think it's good enough LOL) i had a LOT of fun with this art portion!!! clouds are some of the hardest things to draw imo, but i really love them, so i was nervous nd excited to do so many clouds and!! i really enjoyed making it!! detailing took so so long, and looking back after a while has passed i think i still could have pushed the shading a bit more and have a better grip on the forms (as well as spent yet more hours cleaning up details), but ive def improved so much from my old pieces with clouds. nd then drawing ellie on top of that was really fun, it's not a v straight-forward pose but ive been doing a lot of figure drawing and gesture drawing lately so it was fairly painless. colors were a bit rough, since i wanted her to stand out from the bg but not look like she's apart from it. i think i got it eventually tho!! i like her shirt shading/lighting hopefully now that ive proven to myself that i can do these things on a schedule they'll get more consistently posted but,,, who knows lol! i have high hopes at least --- #synthv #eleanorforte #vocaloid
