[SynthV] Saki+GENBU- Matryoshka (Remix)

First duet! Feat. GENBU, the only other Japanese voicebank that I have access to atm ^^; I actually found him first, and probably would have been using him for these vids if I hadn't discovered Saki...I'm glad it didn't work out that way, though, because GENBU is...*rubs temples, pulls hair, smashes forehead against wall*....he's a...special boy. Let's just say I layered Saki's voice on top of his for 90% of the song for a reason. ^^;;;; Nothing against him; for all I know his voice is such a mess because I'm using the free version. And spending so much time struggling with him has kind of endeared him to me, in a way. ^^ But it's weird, because I was able to use Saki and Eleanor almost effortlessly...ah well. Anyway, since this is my first time trying to remix a more well-known Vocaloid song, I feel like a bit of post-mortem is in order: -Yes, I raised both the tempo and the key, because reasons...well, tbh, I felt like the higher key was more complimentary to their lower voices. -Finally, I got to use vocal effects besides echo+reverb! Doing the finishing touches in Audacity was actually a lot of fun this time around~ -I'm realizing now that the pronunciation is much more consonant-heavy than the original; I'll have to pay more attention to that in the future... -I stayed in-genre and did a rock accompaniment this time, instead of my usual...thing I do. It was a great learning experience; I think I'm finally getting comfortable with electric guitars. =Overall, the project is a bit rough, but definitely worth the effort.
